We aim to deliver all orders within 7 - 14 working days from the date of ordering but generally we fulfil orders as soon as possible. For orders placed after 1pm, the following day will count as the order date. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday - Weekend deliveries are possible but at an additional charge. If your delivery address is in one of the above post code areas the delivery cost shown in your shopping cart will not apply. We will contact you to advise any additional delivery charge and this must be paid before the order is despatched.
PALLET DELIVERIES - HOW DOES IT WORK?
We will contact you to advise the despatch date of your order and you will have a window of 5 workings days following despatch to arrange a delivery date. Please let us know your preferred day and a contact number for that day. The driver will contact you prior to the delivery to confirm. Please note that pallet delivery is KERBSIDE only. The driver has no responsibility to help you with taking your tank from the pallet to inside your house so please make sure someone is there with you to help take your aquarium inside.
Due to the fragile nature of aquariums please inspect your goods for damages or breakages on delivery prior to signing and accepting the delivery. Any external signs of damage to packaging should be investigated further.
In the unlikely event that parts of your delivery are damaged, we would request you inform the delivery person immediately and refuse the delivery and take a photo for evidence. Please also inform us immediately so we can arrange for a replacement
RETURNS & GUARANTEE
We request that any goods that develop faults are reported as soon as possible. If a fault develops within the first 14days of ownership we are happy to arrange an uplift of the goods. In all other instances, the return postage of the goods to be tested will need to be covered by the sender. It is important that you obtain proof of posting as the goods are your responsibility until they are received by us. We can only refund postage costs if goods are returned within this period and purchased under our Replacement Policy.
You need to agree a delivery service prior to shipping as we will only refund standard or tracked shipping fees, we are not able to refund the cost of any special delivery service. We cannot refund postage for good returned for any other reason and we reserve the right to deduct our original postage cost and a restocking fee from any refund applicable. If you have made a mistake in purchase then you will need to return the goods to us and if you have received free shipping we reserve the right to deduct all postage fees plus a restocking fee.
Locating an aquarium on any base other than the one designed for that purpose will invalidate the guarantee on that tank. You have a statutory right to have taken reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession. Failure to do so may result in action against you. Part of your statutory right of care is to ensure that the goods are returned to us without damage.
